2/12 - Epic Hockey Day - Amber beer release and USA Hockey

We’re opening early at 12:30 PM and turning the taproom into hockey HQ. Why? Because Thursday is basically a holiday when there’s a beer release, key puck drops, and community support all at once.

Puck drop? Kinda, per tradition for the start of the AHA Winterfest Tournament, we’re dropping a brand new Amber Ale made for the Arvada Hockey Association. Called BEARS-B-CHILLAXIN', it's a smooth, malty amber ale featuring rich caramel and toasty notes balanced by a relaxed citrus hop finish from Galena, Amarillo, and Cashmere. Brewed with guest brewmaster of the day Mike Bohn, selected at the this past Fall Fest.  Better yet, $1 from every pint supports the AHA. Drink easy and cheer on the Bears!

And as chance would have it, the U.S. Men’s Olympic Hockey team kicks off their first game at 1:10 PM, and we’ll have it on all our screens with sound.   

Big Dub Sliders & Spuds will be here with killer food so nobody goes hungry between faceoffs.

So whether you’re here to support youth hockey or just here for the beer and Olympic hockey, it’s going to be an awesome afternoon.
