4/12 Brew Day Help! Conga Line IPA

We’re brewing up a special IPA, and need some help!  

Ever hear of Dogfish Head’s 60-Minute IPA (or 90min, 120min, etc.)?  If not, do some quick internet sleuthing and then come back.  We’re using that for inspiration, but instead of a continuous hop, we’re doing the next best thing… dropping hops every 30 seconds for an hour!

Here’s where you come in: We need as many people as possible to pull this off.  Well, more like 20-30 people.  With 120 hop drops, that’s still a lot of work. Called Conga Line IPA (get it?), we’re brewing this on Sunday April 12.  We don’t have an exact time on this yet, but we usually hit a boil around 11:30a.  If you sign up, we’ll communicate frequently… including day-of… on how it’s going.

What do you get?   Besides the weird experience, some free beer.  Both on the brew day and a crowler of it once tapped the first week of May.

The Fine Print (aka: Let’s Keep You Safe):
Brewing is fun, but it does come with a little risk. You’ll need to wear jeans or pants (no shorts, no matter how nice it is out) and waterproof, closed-toe shoes like hiking boots.

There’s hot liquid, pressurized equipment, and… on rare occasions… the potential for things to spray where they shouldn’t. Worst-case scenario? You could get splashed with very hot sugar water. It’s never happened, but we don’t tempt fate.

What will happen is walking through sticky floors: sometimes hot, sometimes not.
