9/26 Silver Buffs Watch Party

Now it's starting it hit home.

Join LUKI Brewery and the Silver Buffs, the University of Colorado Marching Band Alumni Association, for our 4th Annual Official Alumni Watch Party. And with our closing later this year, it's our final parade.

On Saturday, September 26, we’ll get together one more time to cheer on the Buffs as CU takes on Baylor, with free stickers, raffle prizes, special beers, and... because nobody else can really compete with this... a visit from the CU Golden Buffalo Marching Band, including Lu and Ki themselves.

Game time and the full schedule are still TBD, but get here early when the time comes. Seating is first come, first served. No reservations.

THE BAND ALWAYS WINS

For our final Silver Buffs watch party, we wanted to do something a little different. The Band Always Wins is a limited-batch, single-hop Mosaic Pale Ale brewed specifically for the event. Expect Mosaic doing what Mosaic does best: big notes of blueberry, tropical fruit, citrus, and a little dankness in a bright, easy-drinking pale ale. And this beer is entirely for the band: 100% of the proceeds from The Band Always Wins will be donated to the Silver Buffs. When it’s gone, it’s gone, and most likely day-ofBailey.

TUBA CHEER RETURNS

Of course, we couldn’t do one last watch party without TUBA CHEER on tap. Our award-winning Golden Lager was originally brewed in collaboration with the Silver Buffs and remains a crisp, refreshing favorite, with a mild sweet malt character balanced by floral and citrus notes from Cascade hops. As long as TUBA CHEER is on tap, LUKI will donate $1 from every pint sold to the Silver Buffs.

Yeah that looks weird, we’ll update the schedule as kickoff time gets closer.

And as always, we’ll have plenty of non-alcoholic options available, including soda, kombucha, mocktails, and non-alcoholic beer. 

We’ve had a lot of fun hosting this event over the years. We only get one more shot at it, so come pack the taproom, support the Silver Buffs, raise a glass, and help us make the last one count.
